The Cultural Diversity SIG

By Marjorie H. Roberts

The Cultural Diversity SIG had a great round robin discussion of each attendee’s cultural background at the July meeting at the Arizona Center Food Court. Attendees included Mary Richards, Pat Hull, Yvonne Clark, Mike Johnson, George and Marjorie Roberts, and a visiting out-of-town Mensan.

At the September meeting at the Arizona Center, Peg McMahon will talk to the group about cultural diversity in the workplace. Peg works in this field for CIGNA and has a plethora of material to share.

If time permits, the Roberts two will share a bit about the cultural diversity in Belize, from whence they will just have returned. Belize is proud of its diversity and acceptance of folks of all colors, races, etc. as just part of the community. No barriers.

Sounds good, doesn’t it?
