A Mensan On Exhibit

During and since his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, painting has been the chief way Mensan psychiatrist Mitchell E. Gibson deals with stress. Art, for him, is a spiritual journey and one of the outlets for expressing his visions and dreams.

Dr. Gibson’s art comprises more than 70 titled contemporary abstract pieces under the name Kamal, which is Hindu for peace, and six of his paintings are being shown at the Phoenix Center, 214 E. Moreland, through February 7 as part of "African American Vibes of the City". The show is sponsored by the City of Phoenix. Dr. Gibson is a member of GPM in Mesa.
