Climb the mountain with me, my friend,
For the sooner we go,
The sooner the end.
Lend me your ear, my friend,
And tell me what you hear,
Of cabbages and kings
And all other things.
Climb the mountain with me, my friend
For the higher we go,
The clearer the view.
And the closer we get,
The more well see.
So my friend,
Come climb the mountain with me.
Take in long deep breaths,
For the harder the climb,
The stronger well get.
As we climb the mountain
Till the sun sets.
The higher we go,
The cleaner the air.
And the longer we walk,
The greener it gets.
The more we walk,
The more well see,
Because its the climb,
And not the mountain,
That enriches life for you and me.
