Time for another update on the Business Networking SIG. We’ve met only twice, our numbers are few, but we have already accomplished a great deal of business networking (hence the name), that would not have occurred otherwise.
The idea behind this SIG is to provide business leads to other members, based on our specific business contacts and their specific business products or services. If you own or work for a business and you have an interest in expanding your client base, this SIG may be for you.
We have few rules, but we do adhere to them: (1) Every member needs to do his/her part to support the Group; (2) Confidentiality within the Group is implied at all times; (3) We speak very openly to one another, but we are always professional and the rights of all members are recognized at all times; (4) Representation of a given profession is limited to one member per profession. No other member with a similar profession may join as long as the original representative maintains attendance.
This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list, but our most important. We are few in number, but sincere in our efforts. (Never in the course of business endeavor have so few ... given so much ... back to so few!) We are soliciting new members, so at least visit our next meeting and see what we do and how we do it.
