March is renewal time for many Mensans. If you have not yet paid your dues, do it today. The dues have not increased for four or five years and are great value. You can get even better deals with a three year or five year plan or by taking out life membership. You can even pay with a credit card.
Don't delay paying your dues. This is election year. To be eligible to vote, your dues must be paid by the end of the month. You will be asked to vote for National Officers, your own RVC and some bylaw changes.
Some of the votes are often close, particularly for the office of RVC. When I first ran for RVC 8, the vote was a tie, I won on the toss of a coin. In our last election, our RVC - Ted Elzinga - won by one vote. Your vote is important.
