I’m a relative newcomer to Phoenix Mensa, and I will host the Salon on April 19th. The theme will be Artificial Intelligence, but there is no need to prepare or bring anything — just do come prepared to have fun! There will be the normal Participatory Buffet and you can BYOB if you use it, and hot tub enthusiasts should bring towels. A full size high quality pool table and appropriate equipment is available in the game room. Serious pool shooters are welcome to bring their own cue sticks.
My home is in the Pointe Resort in Ahwatukee. Take I-10 east to Baseline; proceed west on Baseline for two blocks to 48th Street. Turn left (south) and go nearly a mile to the fourth stop sign at Winston Drive. Turn right and then a quick left on 47th Street, which dead ends at Euclid Avenue. Park anywhere that doesn’t block a driveway. My house, 4704, is the second on the left from the corner. Lost souls can call me at 438-0958. Welcome!
