GPM salutes those who have called or accepted the call and "come to the aid of the party". We are now booked solid with Salons and Soirees until the beginning of June. The next opening is June 21, and my number is 264-9321. How about a watermelon bust? Or a chili cookoff? Or a pool party with a buns contest for the guys?
Our Soiree in April will be at the home of Diann Smith in New River, who requests that we arrive by 6:30 to enjoy the beautiful early evening in the desert. To get there, you might want to call her for advice on the best way to get yourself to the intersection of 7th Street and Carefree Highway. Drive north 6.5 miles to Circle Mountain Road, east 2 miles to 20th Street, north .75 miles to #45316 on the left. There is a lizard on her house number sign at her driveway. Take a snack to share, and booze if you use it. Lost souls call Diann at 465-9596.
The Salon will be at Jerry Corbin’s and he has an article of his own with directions.
The April Yard Sale is at the home of our Calendar Goddess, Carol Young. To reserve space, call Carol at 243-6136. Take all your white elephants and stuff too good to throw away to 1549 E. Desert Drive on the 26th at 7 a.m. You might take a snack and a drink too and get ready to enjoy a pleasant morning among friends. If you would like to have a sale at your house, we are not locked in to Saturday or even 7 a.m. Sunday is just as good and whatever hour you like is fine, too. Call me at 264-9321.
