Ataxia in Ataraxia

Fran Van Cleave is a contender for the John W. Campbell Award for the year's best new writer of science fiction. Her professional debut was with the short story "Second Chance" published in the September 1997 issue of Analog. She quickly sold Analog a novella, as well, which just appeared in the December '98 issue of the magazine.

Fran's big priority is her first sf novel, Escape to Serendipity, which should be completed by the end of the year.
