Candidate Statement of Mel Anderson:

Whether or not Greater Phoenix Mensa can "return to its heyday" or not remains to be seen. I cannot guarantee that enthusiasm alone can make a difference, but sometimes all we have to work with is enthusiasm. The areas on which I plan to concentrate are:

1. Increased Officer participation at GPM functions, welcoming new members.
2. More, better promoted and publicized events with larger turnouts.
3. A "Founder's Day" gala with past and present members in attendance.
4. Re-joining of past members and high retention of current members.
5. Fun, fun, fun 'til daddy takes the T-Bird away (If you read this far, page me at 871-1173).

I hope you will help by first voting, second attending, and third, if at all possible, hosting or help planning an event this coming year.
