Lots of new members this month to welcome:
TIMOTHY MANN - is 50, is divorced and says he joined Mensa "hoping to meet some interesting people." Tim worked as an archaeologist with the Bureau of Land Management along the Lower Colorado River Valley, but now works in Information Systems as a Client/Server programmer. In his spare time, he plays bridge. He is also an "avid high-handicap golfer" and enjoys investing, reading and Broadway musicals. He can be reached at timtimi@aol.com
HEATHER FALLON is 24 and is fresh out of ASU with a B.S. in Biology. She’s taking time off to travel before she begins looking for work, but hopes to go into the field of forensics, specifically DNA analysis. She describes herself as "devoted to music" and says she loves to sing, play the piano and participate in community musical theater. She states that she joined Mensa "to, hopefully, make a few good friends…I’m looking forward to getting involved in Mensa when I come home from vacation (make that IF I come home!)".
MITZI PEARCE is 46 and a Computer Consultant. She originally joined Mensa in San Francisco, but did not become active until she moved to Hong Kong and found the local Mensa group there. They became her "most important social contacts, friends, sources of advice, and referrals." Now that Mitzi is back in the States again, she is hoping to re-establish the same kind of relationships that she had with the group in Hong Kong. Beside living in Hong Kong for 13 years and London for 1 ˝ years, Mitzi has traveled all over Asia, can speak a little Cantonese, and has general interests in complementary medicines, Science Fiction, and E-commerce. She reads Tarot Cards and does Reflexology. Mitzi has a Persian cat named Leo, and is a native Arizonan.
ANDREW ROSS - is 26 and works in microcircuit inspection. He is single and says "I joined Mensa because I wanted to meet people outside of work, but wasn’t much for the club scene."
Welcome to Mensa all!
