Call for Nominations for Officers of the Greater Phoenix Mensa Executive Committee
Rules (Condensed version of GPM Bylaws)
Term of Office: one year
Compensation: none
Positions: Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Members at Large, Newsletter Editor
Nominations and Elections
A member may become a candidate by one of the following three ways:
1. By contacting the Election Committee on or before April fifth and stating a desire to run for a particular office.
2. Being nominated with two seconds from the floor of the February or March General Meeting. A potential nominee must agree to serve prior to nomination.
3. Circulating a petition of candidacy and obtaining signatures of at least three-percent of the membership, and submitting the petition to the Election Committee by no later than the petition deadline of April fifth.
