Things have been rather hectic around our place this past week. I’ve discovered that getting married is just the beginning of a time of disorientation. We are still unpacking and organizing. Jim moved over his library (20+ boxes of books) and has been slowly unpacking them and putting them in order. I’ve been kept busy shuffling my stuff around so that we have room for his stuff. It will eventually all get done.

What’s that activity about?

Games Night - another great way to get involved without getting overwhelmed. A variety of games are provided for you to enjoy or you can bring one of your own. Conversation can easily center around the game, so you don’t have to worry about getting tongue-tied or trying to think up something to say. Don’t like playing games? This evening is so casual, you can just come and sit and watch others play games or sit and chat with the others who don’t feel like playing games either.

All MAAM submissions for the October 2000 issue must be received by 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13.
