Salon: Gore National Monument

It’s time again for that great October Salon that we call Gore National Monument. If you haven’t been to our place since last year’s Gore National, you’re going to notice that we have done extensive backyard remodeling. A new timed sprinkler system now brings water to every part of the garden, making a profusion of new plants possible. After all, having a yard you can get lost in is why this October Salon got its name. If you want to have a lot of fun and erase the memories of your Firestone tires or dot-com stocks, come to Gore National.

This month, we’re going to be having Salon at a slightly unusual time of the month. Because of a scheduling conflict in Hell, Halloween will be held on the third Saturday (see Bill Rouse’s article for details!) this time, and our Salon will be held on October 28. Come anytime after 6 if you want to barbecue first, or 7:30 just to roister. We’ll leave the hot tub on for you.

Our location is 14244 N 25th Avenue in Phoenix. We’re between Thunderbird and Greenway just east of I-17. Go north on 26th Avenue from Thunderbird, which is a signal between a Circle K and a Walgreen’s, to Gelding just a couple of streets short of the half-mile point.
