Salon:   Now Is the Hour

If the world still exists by the time you read this, please note: our traditional Salon venue for October is the Gore place, for that big annual bash we call Gore National Monument. We will be featuring all the good things you have come to expect at NatMons: lots of food and drink, the hot tub, the lush and variegated backyard, and…new this year…a rebuilt home. You’ll see the Gore place rescued and restored after the flood that devastated it this March. There are more places to sit and enjoy each other’s presence than ever. Loose lips, after all, belong at Salons. If you haven’t been here since last NatMon, you’ll meet our new designer cat, Opal, for the first time.

So whether you’re contemplating being shipped Over There or whether you will remain on the home front building stealth bombers and selling war bonds, this is one party you need not fear being a member of. All you need to bring is $2 for the Owl, something to eat, something to drink, and your unquenchable American spirit. We’ll be getting together on Saturday, October 20, at 7 pm.
