Another treat is in store for our Mensa Family to join each other in the annual
Thanksgiving Feast at Pat Hull’s home in Northwest Phoenix, at 3328 West Marconi
on Thanksgiving Day, November 22. She is requesting three volunteers to cook
and carve two turkeys and one ham for the feast. Save your receipts and you
will be reimbursed for the cost, by the GPM Treasurer. For those who have not
been to her home, she serves on plates with proper utensils, and provides tables
for all. You are asked to RSVP by Sunday, November 18th, to ensure seating.
There is no owl for this event, however you are asked to bring a side dish,
please coordinate with Pat. The meal will be served outdoors, weather permitting,
around 1:30 PM. Please BYOB, tea, coffee and sodas will be provided.
Thanksgiving is a time of helping. She is needing the help of two persons to
assist with setting up the tables around 10 AM, and also requests two persons
to assist in taking them down after the meal. This has been well attended in
the past. We look forward in seeing you at her home. Guests are welcome along
with any persons considering membership.There will be no Salon on the third
Saturday in November.
Directions to 3328 West Marconi Ave., get to the cross streets of Greenway Road
and the I 17, go west to 35th Avenue, Turn north on 35th Ave. and look for Marconi
Ave. (approximately 1/3 mile), turn east to the second culdesac on Marconi.

I am taking signups for the winter Salons and am in need of a host for the Holiday
Salon on Dec. 15th. Some persons have asked about the Soiree’s we used to have.
They are held on the first Saturday of each month, at 7:30PM, while the Salons
are held on the third Saturday of each month. If you are interested in hosting
