Thanksgiving Salon

Now that the cooler weather is here, let’s join our hostess, Pat Hull, at the annual Thanksgiving Dinner, Mensa style, at her home in North Phoenix, 3328 West Marconi, on November 28th. She would like to have everyone arrive at noon, giving time to heat up dishes and visit with each other, with dinner commencing at 1 PM. Our hostess is in need of two or three volunteers to assist with the set up of the tables and chairs in her lovely back yard, prior to noon on the 28th. Two volunteers are asked to bake turkeys, the baked ham has already been volunteered. This is a good opportunity for those bachelors to show off their baking/cooking prowess. Please coordinate your side dish with our hostess for a good balance of foods needed for this festive and delicious event. In the past, there has always been an ample variety of foods.
Family members and guests are invited, but please RSVP, to ensure appropriate
seating space. Although the meal is served buffet style, everyone is provided
with a place at a table outside, weather permiting. Please bring a jacket,
if needed. The hostess will provide: wine, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. You
are asked to provide other beverages you wish to consume. We’re hoping for a
big turnout. For persons considering membership or first timers, this is a
great way to meet your newest family of friends. Please feel free to come and
participate. There will be no OWL for this event. See calendar for directions.

As a reminder, Soiree’s are held on the first Saturday of each month, at 7:30PM,
while the Salons are held on the third Saturday of each month, with the exception
of November with the Thanksgiving Salon held on Thanksgiving Day. If you are
