Stiles Named CFP®

GPM member Bruce M. Stiles, CFP®, a customer service representative at Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. in Phoenix, has been authorized by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) to use the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, and CFP (with flame logo)® in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements. Bruce has worked at Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. since September 1999 and is responsible for providing in-bound telephone customer support. Bruce is a 1981 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.

These marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® certificants must also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
